Vanuatu Citizenship by Investment Program to be Reviewed

The Prime Minister ordered a revision of the Citizenship by Investment Program in Vanuatu.

Currently, an approved investor can obtain a Vanuatu passport for $150,000 under this program. Revenue from this program accounts for almost a third of the country's state revenue.

However, the program is criticized by both local and foreign leaders.

Bob Loughman, the new prime minister, said that he wants to make the program more transparent and with improved standards. The plan is to create even more jobs for Vanuatu residents.
