St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Online Application
/Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis decided to suspend the acceptance of paper documents and go online. Authorized persons, developers, international marketing agents, and other investment immigration stakeholders must now use a different application process through the CAMS digital platform (Citizenship Application Management System).
An interim measure has been introduced due to the spread of coronavirus. The remaining countries granting citizenship by investment in the Caribbean are taking similar measures. The temporary transition to accepting applications online promises to be just as effective, despite the situation in the world.
Mr. Les Khan, CEO of the CIU, said that “the temporary measures will not compromise the stringent due diligence procedures that applicants to St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Programme must undergo.” Saint Kitts and Nevis are highly regarded for their due diligence checks and, in 2019, received the highest rating for this from Financial Times PWM.
Among all countries granting citizenship by investment, Saint Kitts and Nevis was the first state to use a digital system to upload CAMS documents in 2015. This is one of the distinctive features of the country, with the help of which the status of an investment leader in the field of citizenship by investments was strengthened, proudly maintaining the reputation of the CBI Platinum Standard.
