Saint Kitts and Nevis Signed a Visa-Free Agreement With Palestine

Hon. Mark Brantley, The Premier of Nevis and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of St Kitts and Nevis, has signed visa-free agreements with four countries over the past four weeks. Palestine was added to Burkina Faso, Gabon, and Egypt.

The visa-free regime allows citizens of countries that have signed such an agreement to travel without a visa.

“A historic day for St Kitts and Nevis as we sign [a] reciprocal visa waiver agreement with HE Riad Maliki Foreign Minister [of] the State of Palestine allowing visa-free travel between our two peoples. St Kitts and Nevis continues to expand its diplomatic footprint globally," Minister Brantley wrote on Instagram.

Visa-free travel can be used not only by citizens who have received a passport and citizenship on the basis of birth in this country but also by foreign investors who have decided to participate in the citizenship by investment program.

Since 1984 Saint Kitts and Nevis has been offering foreign investors citizenship by investment program. There are several investment opportunities:

1. Investment in real estate

a. The investment for each main applicant is US$400,000. In this option, two or more applicants can apply for citizenship by investment jointly through the purchase of one property, provided that each main applicant contributes a minimum of US$400,000, or

b. The investment for each main applicant is US$200,000. In this option, two or more applicants can apply for citizenship by investment jointly through the purchase of one property, provided that each main applicant contributes a minimum of US$200,000, in the aggregate value of the property, a minimum of US$400,000.

Once citizenship is obtained, the property purchase process is complete. The property cannot be sold for 7 years, otherwise citizenship will be revoked. Real estate development companies in the Federation serve those individuals for whom the Citizenship by Investment program is the best option and are working hard to ensure a smooth property acquisition process.

2. Donate to the Sustainable Growth Fund

Until the end of 2021, there is a time-limited offer for this investment option.

- a family of 4 US$ 150k

- main applicant + spouse: US$ 150k 

- additional contribution for each dependent US$ 10k

Dependent unmarried childless brother/sister <30 yo of the MA US$ 20k

Offer only applies to citizenship acquisition through investment in the Sustainable Growth Fund.
