Recently, the interest in Montenegro from foreign investors has been only growing. They are ready to invest from € 250,000 in order to obtain a cherished citizenship and passport.

The first quarter showed good dynamics in demand: the number of new applications increased by 142% (compared to the fourth quarter of 2019). According to CNN, this is the highest growth rate of any country.

During the pandemic, Citizenship by Investment and Golden Visa programs have become more popular because investors are looking for all possible ways for further traveling without restrictions, and protecting their capital and family.

Despite the fact that Montenegro is a small country, 66 millionaires live in it. Luxurious hotels, picturesque landscapes and two huge yacht ports also attract the owners of their ships. In terms of content and structure, these ports resemble a city on the French Riviera of Monaco.

The program "Citizenship by Investment in Montenegro" began its work in 2019. To obtain citizenship, the investor must make a contribution of € 100,000 in the form of a donation to the state fund. In addition to donations, applicants are required to invest in approved real estate projects in the country. Depending on where the selected projects are located, applicants will have a choice of the following investment options:

€ 250,000 investment in an undeveloped region (north of the country), or
€ 450,000 investment in a developed region (south of the country).
